PRIVACY MANAGER INSTALLATION ISSUES
Windows Defender or antivirus may not allow the execution of a program such as "Privacy Manager" due to his unusual activities to force the changes in the Windows OS.

HOW TO FIX IT

Add an exclusion to Windows Defender or/and Antivirus, and uninstall any Antivirus.

The Hardware virtualization may be disabled in the BIOS. Make sure is enabled.

HOW TO FIX IT

1.
Reboot your computer.

2.
Press F12 to enter the BIOS settings.

3.
In the BIOS settings, find the virtualization configuration option and enable it.

4.
Save the changes and reboot the computer.

If you are unable to find the Virtualization settings in your BIOS it may mean that your laptop does not support it.
Insert Guest Additions CD Image in virtualBox machine.

HOW TO FIX IT

1.
On the virtual machine press the Right CTRL + Home keys together.

2.
In the menu that appears, select Devices and then click on Insert Guest Additions CD image...

3.
Go to My Computer and then double-click on CD Drive to start the installation.

If you are unable to find the Virtualization settings in your BIOS it may mean that your laptop does not support it.

FOLLOW THROUGH ONSCREEN INSTRUCTIONS

The name of the Network Location Drive is not "access (\\vboxsrv)".

HOW TO FIX IT

1.
Close the virtual machine and open the Oracle VM VirtualBox manager.

2.
Right-click on the virtual machine name and click on settings... option.

3.
Go to Shared Folders tab, then right-click the named text in the Machine Folders list and select the Edit Shared Folder option.

4.
Click on the value of the Folder Name option and type access, then press the button OK, then press OK again to save the settings.

5.
Reopen the virtual machine from VRUN.EXE, then verify that the Network Location Drive name is access (\\vboxsrv).

If you are unable to find the Virtualization settings in your BIOS it may mean that your laptop does not support it.

Close the "wscript.exe" and/or "mshta.exe" process from Windows Task Manager

HOW TO FIX IT

1.
Double-click on C:/Windows/System32/taskmgr.exe file, or press Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open Windows Task Manager.

2.
Go to the Processes menu and look for wscript.exe and mshta.exe, and if any of them exist, right-click on them, and click on the option End Process, and then click End Process button.

3.
Synchronize the Time & Date of the system.

The Time & Date must be correct, and the Windows Region must be in English format

HOW TO FIX IT

1.
On the host computer, double-click on the file C:/Windows/System32/intl.cpl and make sure Format is set to English.

2.
Synchronize the Time & Date of the system.

3.
Close the Privacy Manager license panel and reopen it, then re-enter the license and click ACTIVATE.

ISSUES ON USING PRIVACY MANAGER
If the HDD Signature is damaged, the Windows operating system will no longer boot. Therefore, the virtual machine needs to be replaced.

HOW TO FIX IT

1.
On Privacy Manager application, click the Settings menu, then click the Hardware box, and in the HDD Signature section press EDIT and change the value, then press SAVE.

2.
If the HDD Signature section is still marked with the Red flag or Restriction, close the Privacy Manager application and LOG OFF Windows and then LOG ON Windows again, and repeat Step one.

The erroneous profile must be removed from the "Privacy Manager/PROFILES/" location, or the folder "browser" must be deleted from the Local Disk (C:)

HOW TO FIX IT

1.
In the Privacy Manager application, click Load on the menu bar, then double-click the X on the erroneous profile to remove it, then click Load again to refresh the profiles and see if the problem has been solved.

2.
Go to Privacy Manager/PROFILES/ and remove the folder that has the same name as the erroneous profile, then click Load on the menu bar of the Privacy Manager application to see if the problem has been solved.

3.
Go to Local Drive (C:) and look inside for a folder named browser and delete it if it exists, and then reload the Privacy Manager application by pressing the F5 key to see if the problem has been solved.

This can be because the Internet provider has been changed and a new DNS IP Address has been issued, and therefore, TCP/IPv4 properties must be updated with the new DNS server IP Address.

HOW TO FIX IT

1.
Double-click on C:/Windows/System32/ncpa.cpl file in order to open the Network Connections page

2.
Right-click on Local Area Connection and click Properties.

3.
Double-click on the Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) option.

4.
Enable options Obtain an IP address automatically and Obtain DNS server address automatically, then click OK button, and then press Close button.

5.
Reload the Privacy Manager application by pressing the F5 key.

This is because the FirefoxPortable.exe or firefox.exe process is still running in Task Manager.

HOW TO FIX IT

1.
Double-click on C:/Windows/System32/taskmgr.exe file, or press Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open Windows Task Manager.

2.
In Windows Task Manager go to the Processes menu and look for FirefoxPortable.exe and firefox.exe, and if any of them exist, right-click on them, and click on the option End Process, and then click End Process button.

Try to start the browser by pressing the
 GO 
button again.

Due to the fact that the Privacy Manager app works in the depth of the system, the hardware module was limited to avoid serious damage to the computer.
This happens when Privacy Manager application can not change the Mac address of the wirelless internet connection.

HOW TO FIX IT

1.
Use the Local Area Connection as the primary internet connection, then reload the Privacy Manager application by pressing the F5 key on it.

2.
To disable the WebRTC network module of the Privacy Manager application, press on Control Panel and uncheck the WebRTC checkbox.
